The Feria de Málaga, formally known as the Fair of August, is one of the most important events and cheerful of the city of Málaga, in Andalusia, Spain. It is celebrated annually in the month of August and lasts about a week. This festival has its origins in the commemoration of the incorporation of Malaga to the Crown of Castile by the Catholic Monarchs, which took place on the 19th of August, 1487.
